We aim to respect the special relationship between children and their families, and therefore incorporate a parental perspective when interacting with children.

Parents are encouraged:
- to make contributions to the planning process for their child’s room
- to offer ideas, resources, assistance or feedback as to the success of a given experience or activity
- to give their support of the staff in their role as a carer to their child, reinforcing concepts, strategies and guidelines beyond the centre
- to take an active interest in the curriculum and experiences offered to their child
- to ask questions regarding the activities, philosophies, developmental outcomes, goals and the knowledge and skills your child is developing
- To communicate your child’s daily needs and developmental progress with centre staff
- To attend Parent Nights and other social events organised at the centre and the school
- To help and give support on committees
- To share hobbies, interests or skills
